Percussion and Organ duo with Malcolm Pearce
The duo was formed in 2008, inspired by desire to perform Petr Eben's Landscapes of Patmos. Subsequent investigation of the repertoire led to the discovery of other interesting pieces composed for this combination of instruments. The duo has also begun commissioning original works, of which the first is Four More Moons by Richard Leigh Harris.
Malcolm Pearce
Malcolm trained first as a Quirister at Winchester College and later at King's College, London and the Royal College of Music. He has since conducted various choirs and orchestras, as well as being in demand as a recitalist, accompanist and continuo player. As a composer he frequently undertakes commissions and his work has been published, recorded and broadcast on Radio 3.
